SPECIMEN PROTOCOL

SPECIMEN PROTOCOL is a single-player science-fiction game with a free public browser demo. Specimen001, a cyborg Sphynx cat with its own convictions and appetites, has gone rogue. It considers your objections neither surprising nor particularly important.

Work with Mira Vale to reclaim a compromised laboratory network. Build mechanical, biological, and integrated creations; assign roles, draw routes, and watch a prepared plan meet an environment that does not stand still. Affection is not obedience. Neither is intelligence.

The current prototype connects three encounters through a persistent crew and resource ledger. Cooperative tasks, route timing, enemy telegraphs, recovery, and lasting losses make preparation matter. Original models now give the creations and contested facility a visual identity of their own.

The free public browser demo is available now, hosted on itch.io and playable here in the lab. This remains a development preview, not a finished campaign. Use a desktop browser with a keyboard and mouse. Progress is stored in your browser, not in a cloud account; clearing site data can erase it. The gallery labels concept art, model-development renders, and a UI proposal separately; none should be mistaken for a gameplay capture.
